My Zoella Collection

Hi everyone! Today I thought I would do a post on my Zoella collection to show you some of the things that I have (but not everything as we would be here for a very long time!) 🙂

So for any of you that do not already know, Zoella is a YouTuber, blogger and author. Her real name is Zoë Sugg and and she is one of my favourite YouTubers. Zoë has a beauty range and also a lifestyle range which are available at Superdrug , Feel Unique and Boots.

Let’s get started…

Firstly, the bath and body items. Screen Shot zoella bath 2017-02-24 at 16.35.57.png

I have quite a lot of products for in the bath or shower but I will tell you a few of my faves. All of them smell amazing and the packaging is soo pretty which makes it hard to choose but I would have to say that the shower gel and body cream from the 2016 Christmas range are so nice, they smell just like Christmas and make your skin feel super soft. The bath and shower milk from the Sweet Inspirations range is also another one that I always use because you can use it on your skin the shower and it also makes the best bubble in th bath!! There are many more but don’t let me go on.

Now onto the bags and pouches.

poucheszoellaI find all the little pouches and bags so useful because they can be used for so many different things like makeup, a pencil case, to put loose bits in your bag in or for anything you want. I have the rucksack from her lifestyle range and it fits so much inside and also looks so sweet. I use it all the time for all sorts. Then I have the smaller ones like the ones shown in the picture. I use the larger bag from the Sweet Inspirations range for makeup and then the others for little bits and bobs, but you can use them in any way (there are no rules!!!).

Finally, all the rest…..

I have two perfumes by Zoella and although they are not the most expensive perfumes ever, trust me they smell so good. The sweet inspirations one is a very sweets scent and the Let’s Spritz one is more fresh, it just depends on what you like. I have a few candles and diffusers from the Zoella Lifestyle range which are all incredible scents to have whofting through your house (I definately recommend these). I have the set of pots which can be used as makeup brush pots, pen/pencil pots, plant pots or anything really, they are sooo cute. Finally, teh pillow which says ‘Naps fix everything’ on it which is very true plus it is sooooooo comfy!!!

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this post and you can leave a comment down below of your favourite Zoella products!!

Trip to Hungary!

Hi Guys! I hope you are all well. This is finally my Trip to Hungary post, sorry it took so long!…

Firstly, the reason I went to Hungary was because I was doing a tour with the Essex Youth Symphonic Wind Orchestra. We had concerts all around Lake Balaton and Budapest and it was so much fun. The flight there was good and filled with lots of food and fun! When we arrived in Hungary, we picked up our hire car and headed to our first hotel..

Our first part of the tour was near Lake Balaton so we stayed in a nearby hotel and enjoyed a couple of days of relaxing before our first concert. The hotel had it’s own private beach so we decided to have a day in the lake. I wasn’t too sure about the whole lake swimming thing as it was before I did any training for the triathlon (which I will be posting about soon) but it was fine.

Anyway, our first concert was outside and it was lovely but very windy so we spent the concert trying to peg our music on to the page and stop it from blowing away!!

The next day we headed for Budapest because the rest of our concerts were near there! After settling in we headed to our concert venue. This one was inside so we didn’t have to worry about the whole wind issue. The concert went really well and I enjoyed it a lot! It was a late night so  we got back to the hotel and went straight to bed.

We had the next day off so we decided to explore the city. We found a massive shopping centre (my heaven) but unfortunately I couldn’t go shopping because we had no room left in the suitcases 😦 We then found a hummus bar which was delicious and with our yummy wraps we headed to parliament. There were some beautiful views of the River Danube and the buildings were amazing.

After a while we decided to go cross the river and go up the train thing that takes you up a hill (I’ve got no idea what they are called, sorry). When we got to the top there was so much to see. The view over the water and parliament was astonishing! There were a few art galleries up there but they were closed as it was late so we couldn’t go in but there were plenty of other things to do up there. There was some beautiful buildings and places where you could look out to the water and city (I’ll just let the pictures explain as I obviously can’t!)

The whole day was amazing and I saw so many new and amazing things.
The next day we had a concert in Vac. The cathedral we played in was so beautiful and the acoustic was amazing, it was our final concert of the tour and I think my favourite one!!

Although the concerts were over we still had a couple of days. On our last full day we went to the city park for a walk and then to a city square! There was an art gallery where had a look at all the cool modern art. We then took the train to a vegan restaurant that we had heard about called Kosmoz and the food was delicious!!!! After that we headed home..

On our final day we went to visit the basilica in Budapest, it was beautiful. After that I was craving an icecream so we  went to a gelateria where they make it in the shape of a rose (AWESOME!!). On the way we found a souvenir shop and picked up a few things as a memory of Hungary and then headed for lunch. Pizza and pasta was our decision and clearly a good one, it was so yummy (Mmmm)!

Eventually we had to make a move to the airport, so we did our last few bits and headed for the airport. I was so sad to be leaving Hungary but looking forward to getting back home.

Our flight back was worse than the flight there and my ears were hurting soo much! Anyway, we arrived back safely and went straight to bed. My trip to Hungary was so fun and I made so many great memories. 🙂 (btw, sorry for using the same words throughout the whole post..)

Thanks for reading guys, my triathlon post should be coming in a couple of days.

Friends Fest!

Hi Guys! I hope you are all having a great week. This isn’t my trip to Hungary post yet but I thought as I went to Friends Fest yesterday I would share it with you!!

If you are a mega fan of the TV show Friends (like me) then this is something you will definitely want to read and if not then there’s not much point.

Friends fest is a festival all about Friends (hence the name)! The set of Friends tours around England and you have the chance to go and take pics with the set plus much more. I went to the one at Chiswick House but there a few other places that is goes as well and if I right in saying it happens every year. This time the tickets sold out really quickly so we managed to grab ours when they sold a second lot due to popular demand. I think there are still a few tickets left for sale, but if you don’t catch it this year then I’m sure you can go next year! Anyway, enough of that, let me tell you all about the day…

When we arrived we had a booked slot to go and see Monica and Rachel’s apartment so we got in the queue and headed in. At first you take a pic with umbrella on a sofa that looks like the title page and then we went into the apartment. It was amazing and so IMG_2110fun and all looked so realistic and it actually feels like you are on Friends.

Next was Joey and Chandler’s apartment again so cool. I’m not going to say too much because I really think you should go but I will show you a few pictures.
IMG_2136IMG_2120

After doing that we headed over to Central Perk where my brother and I got up and sung ‘Smelly Cat’ just like Phoebe!

IMG_2142IMG_2135

Next we went to the Silent Disco where we learnt the dance routine that Monica and Ross did on TV for New Year’s Eve!

IMG_2140IMG_2138

After that we went to Monica’s Moondance Dince to have lunch and the went to the stage where they were playing Ross’ Bamboozled and the Geller Cup and it was hilarious. All in all, the day was amazing and I recommend Friends Fest to everyone so go check it out! IMG_2137.PNG

Also I thought I’d let you know that I am doing my first triathlon on Sunday so I will be posting about that shortly!!

Thanks for reading, see you soon! 🙂

Finding Dory Review

Hi Guys! I hope your enjoying the weekend. A couple of days ago I went to watch Finding Dory so I decided to do a review on it. I’m not a professional on these kinds of things but I’ll give it a go…

‘Finding Dory’ is the sequel to ‘Finding Nemo’, so if you enjoyed that, then you’ll enjoy this. Dory is a fish who suffers from short term memory loss so she forgets everything that has just happened and is a bit of a scatter brain. She lost her family when she was little but doesn’t remember until she is older, so when she suddenly remembers she is determined to find her family but considering she has forgotten everything, it is very hard. She persuades Marlin and Nemo to help her and they set off. Dory gets lost along the way so the story is about trying to find Dory and then her family with the help of a few friends along the way. Anyway I don’t want to give too much away as you have to go and see it for yourselves and if you think is it some cheesy movie about fish, you’re wrong as you would know if you have watched ‘Finding Nemo’.

I really enjoyed the movie and I think anyone of any age would. There is entertainment and comedy for adults, little kids and anyone inbetween! I would give ‘Finding Dory’ 5 stars and you should really go check it out. If you want to watch the trailer then Click here. If you do go and watch it then I really hope you enjoy it!!

Work Hard, Play Hard!!

Hi Guys! Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, I haven’t been up to many exciting things recently so I haven’t really had anything to blog about. Anyway, I hope you are all having a great week and enjoying the summer.

I’m currently on my summer holiday from school which I am really enjoying and anyone else who is having a break from work or school, I hope you’re enjoying it too. I lead a busy life and do loads of things so I am all for doing lots and being busy but you sometimes get to a point where you just need to stop for a while and relax and that’s exactly what holidays a for. I think that everyone deserves a relaxing holiday every once in a while because although it’s great to be busy you also need your rest.

This holiday I have been doing a lot of relaxing as well as keeping up with work and music practice so a bit of both it good because if you just do nothing for a solid two months then things can get a little boring. I am doing a couple of music courses this summer which are always really fun so you are doing something productive whilst having a great time and there are so many things out there like that, that you can do during the summer.

I love summer as you can do so many things like seeing your family and friends, having barbecues, doing water fights in the garden, playing in the paddling pool and making loads of great memories. One of my favourite things to do is shopping which I have done quite a lot of this summer. Anyway, enough of my rambling on; all I am trying to say is that there is a time for being busy and a time for relaxing so this summer try and take one time to rest, relax and do something you love! (Have a work hard, play hard attitude)!

Vegan Raspberry Icecream

Hi Guys! I hope you are all having a great week. Sorry that I haven’t posted for a few days, the internet in our house was down so I couldn’t post anything. Anyway, a few days ago I made a vegan raspberry icecream and thought I would share it with you:

This is a four ingredient recipe and you don’t need an icecream machine to make this.

You will need:

A bowl

A hand held mixer

A tablespooningredientsicecream

A teaspoon

A pot to put your icecream in the freezer with

Ingredients:

Aquafaba (water from a tin of chickpeas)

1/2 tsp Xanthan gum

2 tbsp icing sugar

2tbsp raspberry coulis / 1cup raspberry pureé from frozen raspberries

Method:

Start by draining a tin of chickpeas and put the drained water in your bowl. Grab your hand held mixer and whisk the chickpea water until it is stiff, this can take up to ten minutes but make sure you don’t over do it otherwise it may collapse and will not work anymore.

drainchickpeaswhisktilstiff

Next, mix the sugar,  the Xanthan gum and the raspberry coulis in one by one.

addxanthangum

addraspberrycoulis

You can then put it in the pot and pop it in the freezer for a few hours. There is no specific time for this (obviously until it’s cold), so it’s up to you but there is no wrong way. Note: this ice cream will not go hard so don’t wait for into go really hard because it probably won’t as it’s a soft scoop ice-cream.

Once it’s out of the freezer you can serve it and dress it however you want (of course I used sprinkles) and it’s ready to eat. Anyway I hope you enjoy this ice-cream and  have a great rest of the week!

enjoy

Vegan Chocolate Muffins

Hi Guys! I hope you are all having a lovely day. Today I decided to make some chocolate muffins and wanted to share them with you. They are vegan and all of my recipes will be as I am vegan and obviously want to be able to eat my own creations!! So if you want to make them, this is how…

You will need:

2 bowls

A hand held mixer

A sieve

Scales

A teaspoon

A 12 hole muffin tin lined with paper cases

A mug of wateringredients.png

A tablespoon

Ingredients:

100g dairy free spread

85g caster sugar

1tsp vanilla extract

150g plain flour

1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

3/4 tsp baking powder

25g dairy free cocoa powder

130ml dairy free milk

Method:

Start by pre-heating the oven to 170 C.

setoven.png

Grab your 1st bowl and pop in the spread, sugar and vanilla extract. Then mix them all together until smooth.

mixthe1stbowl.png

Leave that to side and then grab the 2nd bowl and sift the flour, bicarbonate of soda, baking powder and cocoa powder into it and combine the ingredients. Then place those ingredients into the 1st bowl and start mixing them together.

siftadd2ndbowlto1st.png

Whilst mixing, slowly pour in the milk. When the mixture is smooth, it’s ready but don’t over work the mixture.

addmilkmixtilsmooth.png

You are now ready to put the mix into the muffin cases. Get your mug of water and dip the table spoon in then equally divide the mixture between the cases and you can ever so often dip the spoon into the water again so that the mixture comes off easier.

dipspooninwater.png

After that, pop the tray into the oven and bake them for about 20 mins until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. After that, take them out of the oven and leave them to cool.leavetocool.png

Finally, if you want to you can decorate your muffins but it is your choice of how you would like to do it. I chose to cover them with chocolate icing and sprinkles (because you can never bake without using sprinkles) but you can do it however you want. Your muffins are now ready to eat!  finishedproduct.png

I hope you enjoy making and eating these vegan chocolate muffins and please let me know what you think of them!

Visiting the Shard

Hi Guys! Today my family and I visited the Shard in London. My Grandparents bought us tickets as a christmas present last year so we decided to go today. We hopped on the train and headed into London.

Fashion

We arrived at the London Bridge station and the Shard was right outside and you definately could not miss it.

shard

We went inside and looked around the gift shop because you can never go somewhere without looking in the gift shop; I bought a bag because a girl can never have too many bags. After tht we began the tour of the Shard. We took the lift to the 69th floor where the viewing gallery was and you go about 6 metres in 1 second which feels slightly strange but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

I definately did not expect it to be that cool, you could literally see the whole of London out of a window and everything down below looked so tiny, like a little model city.

We walked up the stairs to the 72nd floor where the Shard is open and there is a little garden. We had a drink and relaxed there for a bit as it was really sunny and we got a great view. Apparently there is floor where there is a ‘loo with a view’ but I wasn’t too keen on that idea so we decided that we had seen everything we wanted to and left. All in all it was amazing and we all enjoyed it very much and I would recommend ‘The View From The Shard’ to anyone.

Sana and shesh

As we were close by, we headed to Borough Market to see if we could pick up some lunch. I decided to have a burger and luckily they had a vegan burger stall there and it was delicious. We then went to the German Deli and picked up some giant pretzels which were also delicious. There were sooo many other stalls around but there was a point when we had to leave, so we headed home after an extremely exciting and fun day.

Luckily when we got back it was still really hot so my brother and I jumped into the paddling pool to cool off and had loads of fun. Anyway, I hope you all had a great day too!
